Chucka Cow Trailers was born from a lifetime of hands-on experience, bush know-how, and a deep appreciation for quality gear that lasts. At the heart of it all is Robert Bunn — or Bunny, as just about everyone knows him. With over 20 years in the fabrication game, Bunny’s not just a skilled welder — he’s a horseman, cattleman, and long-time campdrafter who knows exactly what rural blokes and families need when it comes to getting stock and horses from A to B.
For years, Bunny was flat out on the road building cattle yards across Queensland, New South Wales, and the Northern Territory, and he still takes on the odd yard job. But a few years ago, life threw up one of those moments that made us stop and reassess. Like many who’ve lived through tough times, Bunny decided it was time to be home more — to spend time with family, enjoy the simple things, and live life knowing how precious time really is.
That decision sparked a new direction, and with his skills and passion still burning strong, Bunny turned his focus to building trailers — the kind he wished he’d always had on the road. Chucka Cow Trailers grew from a shed in Goondiwindi into a trusted name, creating custom-built horse floats and stock crates tough enough to handle the hardest country.
